• App usage data: growth areas selected, daily step completion responses (Yes / No / Almost), mood reflections (Nervous / Okay / Good), and optional short notes (max 200 characters).
• Support communications: any information you share when you contact us by email.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

• Device information: device type, operating system version, app version, unique device identifiers.
• Usage analytics: feature usage patterns, session frequency, and retention metrics (collected in aggregate, not linked to personally identifiable data where possible).
• Crash reports: technical error logs to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect location data.
• We do not collect contacts, photos, or files from your device.
• We do not use AI chat, so no conversational data is processed by AI systems.
• We do not create or share leaderboards or social profiles.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide and improve the GrowDaily application and its features.
• To personalise your experience (e.g., showing your chosen growth area and progress).
• To send gentle, opt-in notifications about your daily step.
• To analyse aggregate usage patterns and improve app design.

• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We engage trusted third-party service providers (such as cloud hosting and analytics services) who process data strictly on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect your data.

We may disclose information if required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of GrowDaily, its users, or the public.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Guest Accounts

GrowDaily allows you to use the app as a guest without creating an account. Please note:

• Guest data is stored locally on your device only.
• If you uninstall or reinstall the app, guest data may be permanently lost.
• Guest data is not backed up to our servers.
• You may upgrade from a guest account to a full account at any time to preserve your progress.

7. Children's Privacy

GrowDaily is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent.

For users between 13–17, we encourage parental awareness and involvement in app usage.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").

The GrowDaily mobile app does not use browser cookies. However, we may use third-party analytics services (such as Firebase Analytics or similar) that collect anonymised usage data to help us understand how the app is used and improve the experience.

Analytics data is collected in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you for advertising purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice within the app or by email.
